Huntrix ‘Golden’ Made its Thanksgiving Parade Debut

Netflix animation characters from 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' (KPDH) participated in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the largest Thanksgiving event in the United States, which celebrated its 99th year, US broadcaster NBC reported on the 27th (local time). The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, which New York's Macy's department store started in 1924, was considered the most spectacular event among the US's biggest holiday, Thanksgiving celebrations. Large character balloons beloved by children appeared in this parade, which marched approximately 4 kilometers down Manhattan avenues. Balloons of the tiger character 'Duffy' and the magpie character 'Seossi' from KPDH also decorated the parade. As a massive 6-meter-tall Duffy balloon was installed the day before the parade, child fans gathered to take commemorative photos. Korean-American singer and songwriter EJAE, who sang the protagonist Huntrix's song in KPDH, along with Audrey Luna and Rae Armi, took the stage during the parade. They performed the full version of the KPDH Original Soundtrack (OST) hit song 'Golden' for the first time. KPDH, Netflix's biggest hit at the time, surpassed 541 million accumulated viewing hours, and the KPDH OST was nominated in a total of five categories at the Grammy Awards, the highest authority in the American popular music industry.
